E·BIZI ESS help
E·BIZI ESS is your side of your employer's payroll. You fetch your own payslips, ask for leave and see what the company has on record for you, without going through the person who runs the payroll every time.
These guides are for employees. Your employer switches E·BIZI ESS on and gives you the address to use. There is nothing to sign up for and no password to set: you sign in with your ID number and a code sent to you. See sign in to E·BIZI ESS.
What the dashboard shows
The dashboard is where you land after signing in. It opens with a greeting and an Apply for Leave button, and everything under that is a summary you can act on.
Three leave balances run across the top: Annual Leave, Sick Leave and Family Leave. Each one shows the days you have available and, underneath, the days you have taken. Those are the only three types that carry a balance. Your Annual Leave Usage takes the annual figure and splits it into taken and remaining, which is the quickest way to see whether that week in December is affordable.
Annual leave builds up as you work rather than arriving in one lump in January, so the figure grows month by month. Days that belong to a pay period that has not started yet are left out of it, so the balance is what you have now.
Your Latest Payslip shows the most recent period with a Download button on it, and View all goes to the full list. Your Recent Leave Applications shows your last five requests with their status.
If people report to you, a Pending Approvals card sits above all of that with the first five requests waiting on you. Click any row to go straight to the approvals screen.
Finding your way around
The sidebar has three items: Dashboard, Payslips and Leave. Your personal details are not there. They live behind the circle with your initials at the bottom of the sidebar, under Personal, alongside Log out.
Managers get a second group in the sidebar called Manage, holding Team and Approvals. The number next to Approvals is how many requests are waiting on you. That group only appears if you have people reporting to you, so if you cannot see it, you are not set up as anybody's manager.
If you work for more than one of these companies
If your ID number is on the payroll of more than one company that uses E·BIZI, the company you are looking at is named at the bottom of the sidebar and you can switch between them there. Switching does not need a new code.
Where to start
Sign in first. After that, the two things people come here for are your payslips and applying for leave.
E·BIZI ESS and the law
These guides cover the portal. For the rules behind the numbers, the E·BIZI guides explain what leave you are entitled to and what has to appear on a payslip.
