Add or change a payment method

Use this when a card is about to expire, when one has been replaced, or when you want to move between card and debit order.

Card or debit order

Card stores your card with Netcash and charges it monthly. Changing a card takes a minute and takes effect immediately.

Debit order collects from your bank account instead. Setting one up needs a mandate, which means Netcash sends a one-time PIN to your mobile number and you authorise the collection. That takes a few minutes longer than a card and needs your phone to hand.

If you are unsure, use a card. It is quicker to set up and quicker to change.

Change it

Go to the companies page, find the company, and choose Manage subscription. From there choose to update the payment method, pick Card or Debit order, and follow the prompts.

For a card you enter the number, the expiry month and year, and the name on the card. There is no CVV field, because the card is being stored rather than charged.

Where your card details go

Card details go straight from your browser to Netcash. They do not pass through E·BIZI and we never store them. What we hold is a token, which lets us take the monthly payment without ever seeing the number.

That is also why we cannot read your card back to you, or fix a typo on your behalf. If a number went in wrong, you re-enter the whole card.

If a payment fails

E·BIZI Pay keeps working while we retry. You get an email, and a banner appears in the E·BIZI Pay sidebar.

The usual causes are an expired card, a bank blocking a recurring payment, or not enough in the account on the collection day. Updating the payment method clears the first two. For the third, wait until the account is funded and the retry will go through.
